MESH Helps was born from a dedicated effort to address the question, "How can we strengthen the skills kids need for their mental, emotional, and social health and build resilience through play?" This initiative began in collaboration with resilience expert Deborah Gilboa, M.D., and involved extensive research leading to the creation of the MESH Helps White Paper. Pennycake products were evaluated by FUNdamentally Children and received accreditation for each product's role in strengthening kids’ mental, emotional, and social health skills through intentional play.

how to play
  • Choose the number of tiles and lay them words-down in a squiggly path. 
  • Use the star tiles to create 2-3 shortcuts that connect one tile to another further along the path. 
  • Take turns spinning, moving, and completing activities. Toss the spinner to the next player on their turn.
  • If you land on a tile connected to a starry path, hop along to the other end and complete the activity on that tile.
  • The first player to reach the final tile and complete the activity wins… and shouts “SquiggleHop!”
