The National Parenting Center’s Seal of Approval program is an independent, consumer-based review system that relies on parent evaluation of products being marketed to both them and their children.

MESH Helps was born from a dedicated effort to address the question, "How can we strengthen the skills kids need for their mental, emotional, and social health and build resilience through play?" This initiative began in collaboration with resilience expert Deborah Gilboa, M.D., and involved extensive research leading to the creation of the MESH Helps White Paper. Pennycake products were evaluated by FUNdamentally Children and received accreditation for each product's role in strengthening kids’ mental, emotional, and social health skills through intentional play.
